Destination on day 3 was the Beautiful island of Barbados.
We booked an excursion through Carnival to go on a catamaran ride and sea turtle encounter. We started our day off by taking a bus ride to our catamaran. Then we sailed for about an hour along the coastline before our first stop.
Our first stop was to swim with the sea turtles. I think this was my favorite excursion I have ever done. The turtles are AMAZING, and they look exactly like the cute turtles on Finding Nemo. They are super docile and friendly creatures. We tried to get a few pictures under water but it was really tricky. So I hopped out of the water for a few minutes to snap a few pictures of Doug in the water with them.
I would have loved to stay there and swim for the entire day. Unfortunately we had to leave and continue on our way to our next stop. While we were traveling the crew served a super yummy buffet-style lunch.
The catamaran pulled right onto the beach for our next stop. We were able to get out and swim and hangout on the beach for an hour or so. Doug bought me beautiful turquoise and pearl necklace from a local vendor on the beach.
We snorkeled, swam, and relaxed until it was time to go.
Wow you have been a busy girl doing all that updating! I loved reading through all your post. It looks like you and Doug had a blast on your cruise, I so remember potty training twins it really is alot of work. I love all the silly sleeping pictures, Easter, and St. Patricks. Your kids are all so cute and it seems you have been up to a lot of fun.. oh and be grateful your twins play so well together.. mine do not and its so sad and frustrating
